Go to the Winnipeg Public Library closest to your home
Apply for a library card if you do not have one yet
- Search the library database for a book on Canada (suggestion: the youth section has colourful books about Canada and each of the provinces)
- Use your library card to borrow this book (or books)
- Bring it (them) to class on Friday, February 24

TREK ADVENTURE 2

Go to a coffee shop or convenience store (7-Eleven, Tim Hortons, etc.)
Ask about their hiring process and if you can have a job application (you my show the RRC business card)
Write on a loose leaf from your classroom binder the questions you asked and the answers your received
Bring the application form and the page with your questions and answers to class on Friday, February 24
